Dubai Airshow 2023 to Feature Comprehensive Conference Agenda

Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Airshow 2023, scheduled to take place from 13-17 November, will bring together experts, leaders, and stakeholders in the aerospace, space, and defense industry. With a comprehensive conference agenda featuring nine thought-leadership tracks across five days, the event aims to drive the conversation forward on key industry topics.

Over 300 speakers will deliver upwards of 80 hours of engaging content that will address critical industry challenges and foster innovation. The CPD-accredited conferences will cover priority topics such as Advanced Aerial Mobility, Sustainability, Passenger Experience, Air Traffic Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Space, start-ups, and mentoring platform Vista, as well as student-focused NextGen Leaders and the Airworthiness & Safety Conference.

Global leaders who have confirmed their participation in the conferences include Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports, H.E. Sarah Bint Yousif Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology and Chairwoman of the UAE Space Agency, H.E. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government, Tony Douglas, Chief Executive Officer of Riyadh Air, Julie Marks, Acting Executive Director for the Office of Environment and Energy, and Ibrahim Ahli, Deputy CEO of Dubai Air Navigation Services.

The conferences will be held on various stages, including the Aviation Mobility stage, which will focus on topics such as Air Traffic Management and Advanced Aerial Mobility. Two new tracks, Passenger Experience, and Diversity & Inclusion, will also be introduced. Luis Felipe de Oliveira, Director General of Airports Council International (ACI) World, commented on the importance of fostering innovation while ensuring safety and security within regulatory frameworks.

The Aerospace 2050 stage will feature conferences on Sustainability, Space, and NextGen Leaders. Discussions will focus on the future of aviation in the context of environmental sustainability and renewable energy policies. Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air, expressed his excitement to be a part of the Dubai Airshow and highlighted the airline’s commitment to shaping the future of travel through digitalization and sustainability.

In partnership with the UAE Space Agency, Dubai Airshow will host a 2-day Space-focused conference, addressing innovation and highlighting projects and space programs in collaboration with private companies and government agencies. The sessions will align with the show’s focus on sustainability and the role of space in informing sustainable policies and finding solutions for climate change.

Other conference tracks include the VISTA stage, showcasing aerospace start-ups’ success stories and innovation, and the Air Worthiness & Safety Conference, which focuses on defense and is accessible by invitation only.

Leading companies such as TII, Airbus, Boeing, Lilium, NATS, and NERA are sponsoring the conferences.
