Qatar Airways Resumes Flights to Ras Al Khaimah

A Qatar Airways flight from Doha has resumed services to Ras Al Khaimah International Airport on November 1. The flight, which takes only one hour from Qatar Airways’ hub in Doha, offers passengers seamless entry into Ras Al Khaimah.

This partnership between Qatar Airways and Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) aims to enhance global connectivity to the emirate. The flights will provide greater choice and flexibility for international travelers looking to explore Ras Al Khaimah, leveraging Qatar Airways’ network of over 160 destinations, including one-stop connections from key European cities.

Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, commented on the partnership, stating that it marks an important step in driving Ras Al Khaimah’s growth as a future destination. He also mentioned that Qatar Airways’ reputation as one of the world’s leading airlines will help meet the growing demand for travel to the emirate. The goal is to attract three million visitors annually by 2030 and increase tourism’s contribution to Ras Al Khaimah’s GDP.

Marwan Koleilat, Senior Vice President Commercial – Eastern Regions, highlighted the increased connectivity that Qatar Airways’ resumption of flights to Ras Al Khaimah provides for passengers from the UAE and beyond. Passengers will have access to Qatar Airways’ quality offerings, including in-flight entertainment and world-class cuisine, and the opportunity to connect to over 160 destinations via Hamad International Airport.
