Two friends and budding entrepreneurs managed to build a successful start-up with just a modest investment of $185 (Dh600), thanks to the help of ChatGPT, according to CNBC. Salvator Aiello and Monica Powers caught attention when they sold their AI start-up, DimeADozen, for $150,000 (Dh550,000).
Salvator and Monica conceptualized and developed DimeADozen, an AI research tool specifically designed for testing business ideas. The tool claims to be able to validate any business idea in seconds, according to the official website. Salvator is a software engineer and Monica is a product designer.
Initially, DimeADozen was just a side project for the couple, but it quickly started generating significant profits with minimal expenses, the report stated. The start-up was eventually acquired by Felipe Arosemena and Danielle de Corneille. However, Salvator and Monica are still actively involved in the company.
Despite their success, Salvator and Monica plan to dedicate a few hours each week to nurture their brainchild. Their ultimate goal is for DimeADozen to become a widely-used tool for businesses, attracting attention from industry giants like Salesforce.
