Dubai Airshow 2023: Bigger and More Spectacular Than Ever
The 2023 edition of the Dubai Airshow, scheduled to take place from November 13-17 at Dubai World Central, is set to be the most spectacular and largest on record. With over 1,400 exhibitors from 95 countries expected to attend, it promises to be a global aviation extravaganza.
Known as the biennial showcase of the global aviation industry, the Dubai Airshow has a history of delivering in terms of aircraft orders and breakthrough technology displays. This year’s event will feature static and flying displays with more than 180 aircraft, including passenger planes, military jets, and private jets.
Attendees can look forward to breathtaking aerial displays by world-renowned aerobatics teams such as Al-Fursan (UAE), the Frecce Tricolori (Italy), August 1st (China), and Sarang (India). The show will also feature a flying display every day from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
A highlight of the event will be the presence of major airlines and aircraft and engine manufacturers, including Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai, Riyadh Air, Saudia, Qatar Airways, and more. Boeing and Airbus will have their latest aircraft on display, with Boeing showcasing its new wide body 777-9 jet and the F-15QA fighter.
In addition to the airshow, four conferences will be co-located at the event, covering topics across five days. These conferences will focus on Aerospace 2050, Aviation Mobility, Vista, and the Airworthiness and Safety Conference. A two-day space conference, powered by Abu Dhabi Space Debate, will be another feature of this year’s show.
The 2023 Dubai Airshow will also include more than 400 new exhibitors along with over 80 startups, as well as new and expanded features such as the Advanced Aerial Mobility Pavilion and the space zone. The event will showcase the latest commercial, business, and military aircraft, as well as an exciting selection of eVTOLs and helicopters.
One of the most awaited highlights of the airshow is the announcement of new aircraft orders, with industry giants Airbus and Boeing expected to compete for big deals. In the first half of 2023, a record-breaking 1,667 orders were placed for aircraft across the world, highlighting the momentum leading up to this year’s show.
