Enoc Group Expects to Reach 1 Billion Gallons of Jet Fuel Sales by the End of 2023

Headquartered in the UAE, Enoc Group is set to surpass pre-pandemic levels by expectedly reaching more than one billion gallons of jet fuel sales by the end of this year. The Group supplies over 153,000 commercial, military, and general aviation flights worldwide and covers more than 40 percent of Dubai International Airport’s jet fuel requirements. Enoc CEO Saif Humaid Al Falasi announced the milestone at the Dubai Airshow, which is taking place until November 17 at Dubai World Central.

Furthermore, Enoc plans to provide Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to Dubai Airports in 2024, aligning with its long-term strategy. The Group is also exploring the possibility of producing SAF within and outside the UAE. Enoc aims to increase its sales volume globally, along with potential acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and greenfield projects.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, shared, “With strong demand for air travel driving global passenger volume, the aviation sector remains a key driver to the UAE’s economic growth. Enoc Group is committed to meeting the growing demand for jet fuel both locally and internationally, and we’re working on securing and blending sustainable aviation fuel to support decarbonization and the nation’s net zero ambition.”

Additionally, Enoc recently completed the construction of a 16.2 km jet fuel pipeline linking its storage terminal in Jebel Ali to Al Maktoum International Airport, aiming to meet the airport’s jet fuel demand up until 2050. The Group’s aviation business has a significant global presence, serving more than 300 airports across 25 countries in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, and Europe. Over the years, Enoc has invested in cutting-edge technologies and implemented best practices for world-class performance.
