Dubai Duty Free Secures ‘Best Global Duty Free Award’ at Burj CEO Awards

Dubai Duty Free has been recognized for its unwavering commitment to delivering a world-class retail experience by winning the prestigious ‘Best Global Duty Free Award’ at The Burj CEO Awards held recently in Europe.

The award was personally presented to the executive team of Dubai Duty Free, led by Executive Vice Chairman & CEO Colm McLoughlin, by Dr. Tariq Nizami, Founder and CEO of CEO Clubs Network Worldwide, at the company’s headquarters in Dubai.

The Burj CEO Awards, hosted by CEO Clubs Network Worldwide, celebrated exceptional individuals and organizations in over 50 categories.

Dubai Duty Free earned the title of Best Global Duty Free for its outstanding performance in establishing the global standard for airport retailing, with over four decades of success.

Colm McLoughlin and COO Ramesh Cidambi also received a Medal of Honor from the CEO Clubs Network Worldwide.

In response to the award, Colm McLoughlin stated, “We are thrilled to receive the Best Global Duty Free Award from the CEO Clubs Network. This accolade is a testament to our commitment to providing a world-class retail experience to our customers. Although we were unable to attend the awards ceremony in person, we are grateful to receive the award.”

To commemorate Dubai Duty Free’s recent win, the company’s 40th anniversary logo was displayed on a digital screen in New York’s Times Square on October 30th.

Other members of the Dubai Duty Free team present at the awards ceremony included Sinead El Sibai, SVP – Marketing, Mona Al Ali, SVP – HR, Michael Schmidt, SVP – Retail, Sharon Beecham, SVP – Purchasing, and Zayed Al Shebli, SVP – Loss Prevention & Corporate Security.

The Burj CEO Awards is an annual global business award ceremony held in different countries. It was launched in 2016 in Washington, D.C. and has since taken place in London, Shenzhen, Mauritius, and Dubai.

Over the years, the Burj CEO Awards have recognized and honored over 200 business leaders and organizations for their outstanding achievements.
