Riyadh Air to recruit staff in Dubai ahead of 2025 launch

Saudi Arabia’s new airline, Riyadh Air, is set to launch in 2025 and is beginning its recruitment drive for hundreds of employees. The recruitment event will take place in Dubai, Paris, and Saudi Arabia. The positions that are open for application include cabin crew, pilots, engineers, maintenance, and various corporate positions.

Riyadh Air aims to recruit 300 cabin crew members by the end of 2024. The first of these new crew members will begin in the first quarter of the same year.

The airline also held a recruitment roadshow in London earlier this year and plans to create 200,000 jobs directly and indirectly by 2030.

Since the announcement of Riyadh Air’s launch in March 2023, the airline has received over 900,000 applications, from which 52% are women and were submitted from over 200 nationalities.

Riyadh Air plans to fly to more than 100 destinations by 2030 and play a key role in contributing to Saudi Arabia’s wider economic diversification and jobs creation, toward realizing Vision 2030 goals.

Riyadh Air will take part in the Dubai Airshow from November 13 to 17 and is expected to announce a major order of 100 Boeing 737 Max. The carrier also plans to reveal its much-anticipated second livery at the event, alongside news of a partnership with luxury electric vehicle manufacturer, Lucid Group for the future of sustainable transportation.
