Dubai Airshow 2021 set to begin on November 13
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the 18th edition of the Dubai Airshow, the world’s leading event for the aerospace, space, and defense industries, is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 13, at Dubai World Central (DWC).
The theme for this year’s Dubai Airshow is ‘The Future of the Aerospace Industry’, and it will run until November 17. The event aims to bring together industry leaders and innovators to identify future trends and opportunities in aviation, space, and defense.
More than 1,400 exhibitors from 95 countries and over 300 international speakers will convene to drive collaboration, explore the latest trends, and push the boundaries of sustainable innovation for the future.
The event will also feature static and flying displays, showcasing more than 180 commercial aircraft, including those from Airbus, Boeing, and other leading airlines from across the globe.
Furthermore, the event will introduce the advanced aerial mobility pavilion, providing attendees with the opportunity to experience the latest eVTOLs, drones, and UAVs shaping the future of air travel.
Dubai Airshow 2023 will also focus on space exploration in partnership with the UAE Space Agency, with an expanded space pavilion and a dedicated two-day conference program. The event will showcase the agency’s latest initiatives and projects, including the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt, the Planet X Challenge, and the Space Economic Zones program.
This year’s Dubai Airshow is expected to reflect the global interest in space exploration and sustainable aviation technology advancements.
