Securing Corporate Data from Employee Breaches, Fraud, and Errors – Report

November 9, 2023

SearchInform, a leading provider of data security solutions, has launched a new service specifically designed to protect businesses from internal threats and data leaks in the UAE market. The company’s Head, Lev Matveev, recently discussed the risks that different companies face, how to safeguard data in SMEs, and why managed security service is superior to selling software licenses in the UAE.

Matveev, who has over 20 years of experience in information security, explained that SearchInform’s core product is Risk Monitor, a state-of-the-art DLP system that protects against data breaches, financial fraud, employee misconduct, and more. The system monitors data usage across various platforms and provides real-time alerts to potential security threats.

In an effort to address the shortage of local cybersecurity professionals in the UAE, SearchInform is introducing security as a service, which includes installing protective software, customizing security policies, and providing monitoring and incident response services. The company is even offering the service free to all clients for one month to demonstrate its effectiveness.

Matveev also pointed out that the service is particularly beneficial for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that may not have the resources to hire a full-time security officer or build their own information security department. Additionally, the managed security service is geared towards larger companies that may need additional security resources during business expansion or downsizing.

Given the growing demand for digital services and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies in the UAE, SearchInform is heavily investing and expanding its presence in the region. The company plans to establish a stronger foothold in the MENA region and aims to achieve a turnover of 200 million dirhams and a net profit of 100 million dirhams within the next 4-5 years. With this initiative, SearchInform is set to play a crucial role in enhancing protection against internal threats and data leaks, providing businesses in the UAE with the security solutions they need to thrive in the digital age.
