Al Ain Zoo set to launch Conservation Festival 2023
Al Ain Zoo will soon host the 5th Conservation Festival 2023 under the theme “Nature’s Sustainability”. The festival aims to promote the Zoo’s role in wildlife protection and preservation of natural resources.
The festival offers free entrance to students and will run various activities and events until November 12.
Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, the Director-General of the Zoo Aquarium Public Institution in Al Ain, emphasized the significance of the festival in supporting COP28. Initiatives for sustainability and nature conservation will be showcased inside and outside the Zoo, along with programmes offered by partners in the sector.
The festival aims to educate future generations on the importance of sustainability and nature conservation. It will include workshops on sustainability and the future of youth, competitions, art sessions, an organic products market, awareness-raising events about wildlife, and significant partnerships.
